A torso removes the parts most buyers never use: head, chest and hips at life-size proportions, with no arms or legs. That takes out most of the weight and all of the posing.
Who this suits
Buyers whose constraint is storage or lifting, and who would rather have one piece they can set down and put away than a full doll they cannot move alone.
What it is not
Not a doll you can seat or stand. Without limbs it stays where you put it, so if posing is part of the appeal, a full body at a shorter height is the better buy.
Get these before you pay
Ask for the height, weight and chest-to-hip measurements of the unit in stock, and confirm a head is included – the two formats are sold side by side and the measurements vary more than the photos suggest. Ask about face, skin tone and eye colour options at the same time.
Care
Rinse with warm water and mild soap, dry every channel and crease, then powder. A torso dries faster than a full doll because there is nothing to work around.
